The people were nice, the food was over priced and not good. It was very stuffy with no air flow. We ordered the cod and fries for $11.99 , it looked like right out of the freezer child plate. 3 fish plates, 1 breakfast plate and sodas was $65.00
Breakfast is awesome and the wait staff and cooks are wonderful.
This is the real Colorado, family owned and home made fudge and Apple butter, cabins aren't fancy but they're the real deal.
We dine here several times during the summer. The hummingbirds and homemade fudge make this a GREAT place for a family day out. There's fishing and camping also.
The lake is pristine and surrounded by mountains...truly heaven on Earth....
Good food at a reasonable cost. Friendly service, great gift shop with hiking, boating, fishing just across the street at San Isabel Lake. Beautiful drives or hikes just outside your cabin door. Magic dark velvet nights with diamond studded skies to relax under. Wildlife in area so need to be cautious & alert at all times.
I got 4 person cabin with just two people and wanted to add my son...no extra charge
EXCELLENT experience! Jennifer was a super Friendly & genuinely great server! Her recommendations were spot on perfect! The Mexican food was awesome, the green chili was so good I bought extra to bring back to Denver. Too bad the biz is up for sale, a decades old tradition is about to end. Go now & enjoy one more stay for the memory books!
