This is a beautiful spot on the side of the mountain above Rye, Colorado. It is the perfect size with trees and nice scenery. The community lodge is open for campers to enjoy and get wifi to catch up with the world. The dog park is large and the shower house was clean and nice. The thing you can't tell from photos or campground maps is the forested sites are on a hill and terraced. The managing couple was very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to find peace and quiet, disconnect with technology and connect with nature. We will be back when that is possible on our lives!
Aspen Acres is such a wonderful place to stay! We have stayed here multiple times during the past 12 years for family getaways and we enjoy it more each time. We appreciate the improvements that have been made (extra restrooms, etc.) and everyone is so nice and relaxed. It is such a clean campground that is easy to get to, cool temperatures when the rest of the state is so hot, and beautiful scenery any which way you look. We will be back for many years to come.

We stayed in our travel trailer on July 25th . The campground was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The travel trailer sites were a little close together but the scenery made it nice and you didn't feel too cramped. I would recommend this camp grounds and we will definitely be back. The only thing was I wish our fire pit would have been cleaned out but it trained everyday anyway. Thanks to the staff for keeping us informed during the Bear incident...The Alvarez's
We stayed at Aspen Acres in August of 2017 and the experience was awesome. The campground is quite, clean and has incredible views all around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are also many other activities near by although we did not make use of those since we were there for the hiking and relaxation. One last thing I would mention is that we had an issue where we discovered the day we were leaving that our gas tank on the tow vehicle showed empty!!:( We are still not sure if this was an issue with the gas gauge or if we were really empty. Either way, the folks at Aspen Acres took care of us by getting us a few gallons to get us to the nearest gas station.
Aspen Acres Campground is by far one of the best places to stay. The rates are affordable, the amenities are great, and it's very family oriented. The staff goes above and beyond for their campers! The shower house is always clean. They are very pet friendly. The lodge/recreation room is a super plus. Would definitely recommend this campground to anyone.
