We'll probably go back one of these days.
The camp host is the best. The restrooms are sparkling clean and not smelling at all and the campground is taken care of. A great campground. We will absolutely be back.
Great place! No overbearing forest people telling what you can't do! Quiet, dog friendly, close get away! Tents allowed! Water near by, clean bathrooms! I will return
Down the road is a dinner if you wanted to not cook on the campfire. Then of course there is Bishop's Castle that was an experience to say the least (more beautiful photos there btw).
Nice camping spots along a stream for trailers. Many walk up campsites for tents (100-200) yards from parking lot. This campground does not take reservations so it is first come. Great camp host. I will return.
We had such a pleasant experience here. Stopped to speak with the host and get some firewood and he told us about a little natural waterfall that we hiked up to (to the west) and took some beautiful photos! It was a nice time. I wish we stayed longer. Everyone in the camp was nice and not so loud.
First visit to this campground. It was clean and quiet. Loved camping along the creek and listening to it. Would rate it higher if the daily fee was a little less. Seemed unreasonable to charge the same as an RV. Especially, when only one water well/pump worked. I've paid less for a nicer facility that had electricty at tent sites. With that said, we will be back and bring our RV next time. Upgrade the place a little and make it worth the daily rate.
